Your comfort is our priority
Hotel is in a very convenient location in the heart of downtown. The staff was very friendly. Special shot out to Will for great recommendations of where to walk around and mentioning going atop the view deck of City Hall. The room does not have a mini fridge, so no need to box your left overs from the many surrounding restaurants. The room was clean but the bathroom could have used a good scrub. The building has amazing Art Deco details, both in the room and lobby.
This is a beautiful, historic property that is very well maintained in the heart of downtown Buffalo. Easy to get anywhere on foot, or transit, the hotel offers free parking in the secure garage next door. The lobby was exceptional, although it was awkwardly quiet anytime we went through, with no staff to be seen unless you stood at the desk for a while. The hallways and even the stairs are gorgeous and have historic information around. The room (a standard king on the 2nd floor) was really nice and well decorated. It was missing a mini fridge, safe, and a shelf in the bathroom, but had a coffee maker, iron and board, and a large soft bed. I’d consider a suite next time as we saw one while leaving and they looked amazing. Really nice property. Everything is clean and updated. Would love a little more human touch to put this one a tad higher.
This is a historic hotel near the theatre district and within walking distance to the Sabre stadium. Beds and pillows are comfortable, room and bedding were clean. Fitness room is dated and the 1treadmill wasn't working. There was a mat for yoga and dumbbells so I was happy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived at 12 and was able to check in early (2pm), front desk staff suggested a coffee in the cafe which was wonderful. I was nervous to stay based on recent reviews but thought it was charming.
